However with the AUMA range of actuators, the unit is completely modular and also has a removable electrical connector. This means that the plug, display and motor drive unit orientation can be determined on site to accommodate the constraints of the specific installation. With 64 different ways to configure the product, the easiest cable routing can be selected and the display / controls can be orientated to be read horizontally, irrespective of the direction of the valve drive shaft. In addition, the electrical control head can be mounted up to 100m away from the valve and motor drive unit by using a simple umbilical arrangement.
